Another intimate landscape discovered while exploring deep in Delamere Forest for a new project. It was the dynamic lines of fallen branches creating an 'A' shape on the forest floor that caught my attention this time. I used my widest lens, deliberately composing so that the branches would lead diagonally in from the sides of my image. Once again, Delamere Forest delivered, with warm sublime light flooding the background creating the perfect contrast between light and dark. An evocative scene that I was only too pleased to capture.
