The Great Outdoors (TGO) is a magazine for all those that love hiking in the hills and mountains of Britain and abroad. Alan has been a contributor at TGO for a numbers of years often contributing to their 'Escape" section in the first pages of each edition. Escape features a double page spread image and associated text for a well known location, usually within the UK. Here are just a few cuttings of features contributed to the magazine.
