This image is all about the fabulous luminescent glow radiating from snow covered slopes on Aonach Eagach and Meal Dearg high above Clachaig Falls in Glencoe. I arrived here to be greeted by rather drab and overcast lighting, but the promise of a clearance around sunset convinced me to weather the -10 degree temperature for nearly one hour. As twilight gathered, the final rays of sunlight finally pierced the cloud cover and lit up the mountains on the Aonach Eagach Ridge.
