Dark and light together as a caption may seem like a contradiction in terms, but this title came to me instantly as this atmospheric image flashed up on my camera screen shortly after capture. The near silhouetted spit of land beyond Loch Kanaird contrasts magnificently with the sunlit flanks of Ben Mor Coigach, whilst overhead a gap in dark storm clouds circling the mountain offers a brief respite from heavy snow showers.
