The snow showers had been relentless all day, but in between, glorious shafts of sunlight would whip across the landscape. Blizzard conditions seen here over Cùl Mòr are a typical example. Wanting to feature Cùl Mòr within its environment, I set up my tripod down amongst the grasses on the edge of the peat bog moorland. This image was captured moments before the snowstorm engulfed me completely.
