The first light of dawn colours the sky above a snow covered Llanberis Pass. I was passing these wonderful rock formations on my way to climb Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) when the shapes and texture caught my eye. I simply had to stop. It's not a classic composition by any means... the huge foreground rocks very much dominate the left hand side. However, sometimes breaking the so-called 'rules of composition' can be really satisfying!
