Abandoned Crofts are a major feature of the Hebridean landscape. Often occupied by the same family for generations, they are sometimes left to decay when there are no more descendants. This particular one has an enviable outlook over neighbouring Loch Siophort and the Harris hills. I waited for an interesting sky to move into view, thinking that the patterns within it formed a perfect complement to the weathered walls below.
