A fabulous winter scene, taken from the appropriately named 'Windgather Rocks' high above the village of Kettleshulme in Cheshire's Peak District. A dramatic location requires dramatic lighting and this was certainly the case as sunset approached on this bitterly cold winter's evening. I watched in awe as the sun sank slowly below the distant horizon creating a landscape full of atmospheric wonder.
