What a year 2024 has been for the Northern Lights. Solar Storms occur in cycles and this year in particular has been nothing short of amazing. Having seen a red aurora forecast, I climbed up to White Nancy and witnessed one of the most spectacular displays of the year. I have been privileged to see the Aurora on many occasions, however seeing orange in the sky was a first for me. It is rare to see the aurora this far south, even rarer still for her to dance full circle around you in the night sky. An event to savour and always remember.
