Crepuscular rays and dramatic light illuminate the River Dane valley near Bosley in Cheshire, creating the magical layering effect known as Aerial Perspective. This involves creating an illusion of depth by depicting objects as paler and less detailed with gathering distance. My image was taken from the flanks of Bosley Cloud near Congleton allowing me to gain the required elevation to showcase this technique.
Location: Dane Valley, near Bosley, Cheshire
