I had wanted to make this image for nearly 3 years but on many previous visits, despite careful consideration of the weather forecast the night before, conditions I was seeking for my image had failed to materialise. This morning was different however and as the first rays of sunlight illuminated the peak of Crimpiau, in the valley below mist danced and swirled across the cool waters of Llyn Crafnant in a mesmerising display lasting well over an hour. Mission accomplished!
