This was a chance encounter with a wild Welsh Pony on the track up to Llyn Idwal in Snowdonia. It was the first time I had seen them in this location and with cloud spilling off the Glyderau mountains behind, it seemed a unique opportunity to capture her in this wild and remote setting. She was very calm throughout the encounter seemingly enjoying the attention, and this allowed me to gradually move in close to frame her perfectly for a wide angle shot.
