You expect wild and stormy weather north of the Arctic Circle in winter and during this shoot Mother Nature did not disappoint! The dramatic nature of the sky perhaps offers a clue to the howling winds and fierce hailstorms that battered me at this location. But harsh conditions can often lead to atmospheric landscape images and I personally rate this one amongst the finest from a ten day trip to the Lofoten Islands.
