This is Scarr House Farm and beyond is the road climbing out of Swaledale up towards the Buttertubs Pass. I walked up Kisdon Hill in the gathering evening light to make the most of the final rays of sunlight flooding the Swaledale valley. Every crease and fold in the landscape has been highlighted in a photograph full of contrast and texture, illuminating every 'nook and cranny' in the landscape.
