An early start and prolonged sub-zero temperatures over several days combined to make this image of the frozen Afon Loer tumbling it's way into the Ogwen Valley at dawn in mid December. The subtle pink glow of first light beautifully illuminates the snowy slopes of the valley and rising majestically in the distance is the iconic and unmistakable shape of Tryfan.
