Lyme Hall in Cheshire has featured in many films and drama series, the most famous of which is probably 'Pride and Prejudice.' A sudden overnight snowfall had me reaching for my camera gear and arranging access as the hall was closed on this particular day. The snow in the Italian Garden was still pristine when I arrived and the building was glowing in the late afternoon light contrasting beautifully against a deep blue sky.
